⚠️ STRATOVISION is not responsible for any damages incurred by using this product.
⚠️ This product is a precision measuring instrument. Please do not apply strong pressure from the outside or subject it to impacts such as dropping.
🚫 This product undergoes individual calibration for each unit before shipping, with the calibration values stored in the internal memory. As a result, disassembling the product or modifying it in a way that involves disassembly will invalidate the calibration. Therefore, please refrain from such actions. Even if you choose to disassemble and reassemble the product at your own risk, there is a possibility of damaging the internal electronic circuits or exceeding the specified screw torque, which could easily result in damage to the housing or make reassembly impossible. We do not recommend disassembly.
🚫 Please do not operate this product in a place where it may get wet or in an environment where condensation may occur. This product is not designed to be waterproof, and if moisture gets inside, it may cause a malfunction.
🚫 Do not touch or press on the ultrasonic transducers located on the top of the anemometer with your fingers or other objects. The ultrasonic transducers are delicate components, and if they get dirty or are subjected to force, it can affect the measurement accuracy.
⚠️ This product uses a 200kHz ultrasonic transducer, which employs a higher frequency piezoelectric element than the commonly used ultrasonic transducer (40kHz). Due to the structure of the piezoelectric element, it does not detect ultrasonic waves, but a faint clicking sound within the audible range is generated during operation. You may hear this clicking sound when you bring your ear close, but please understand that this is not a malfunction.
On the other hand, if you cannot hear the faint clicking sound even when you bring your ear close while the power is on, and the measurement values are obviously abnormal (e.g., always showing a value of 0), there may be a malfunction.
⚠️ For safety reasons, this product is designed with a safety circuit that will stop measurement operations if the internal temperature exceeds 60°C (140°F). The error display will vary depending on the selected output protocol. Please refer to the startup guide for more information.
For example, if you have selected List Format, the status will change from OK
to OT (Over Temperature)
.
